Hiker Collapses, Dies on Valley Trail
The Riverside County coroner's office reports the death happened along the Museum Trail, in Palm Springs.
A man from the United Kingdom collapsed and died during a hike near the Palm Springs Art Museum, the coroner's office reported this weekend.
The 55-year-old subject was not publicly identified, while his family was still being notified as of Monday.
He fell Saturday while hiking 300 yards up the Palm Springs Museum Trail west of the museum, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

The victim was found on a hillside at 1:13 p.m., records indicated.
