Shelter Spreads Love To Homeless

Volunteers will hand out bottled water, T-shirts, hats, sunscreen and shoes Wednesday.

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission's "Love Van'' will make runs across the desert today to deliver supplies to the homeless.

The project is part of the mission's "90 Days of Summer Relief" campaign and "Water for the Homeless" outreach programs.

Volunteers are expected to hand out bottled water, long-sleeved shirts, hats, sunscreen and shoes to homeless.
