What progress are you referring to? Can you name one thing the the Congressman has done while inRead Moreoff ice? He speaks in platitudes and panders to groups to further his political career, he has yet to do one meaningful thing while in office. If he wasn't so hyper partisan and overtly political maybe he would get more coverage... Not to mention the fact that he won't take a stance on anything...I've called his office over 40 times since he's been in office and not once have I gotten a straight answer as to where he stands on Obamacare, illegal immigration, how to balance the budget, etc. Until Congressman Ruiz does something worth reporting on, please don't waste our time...

Sherryl, "I've called his office over 40 times" if your statement is true, maybe hisRead Moreoffic e knew the calls were coming from Nestande's office and were tired of being harassed. All the info your looking for is on Rep. Raul Ruiz web site. Have a great day.

Please list the phone numbers of the agencies who handle these calls. Unfortunately when one callsRead Moreg overnment offices, one gets passed from"pillar to post" because the phone people don't know the answers they should have for their jobs. They are often uninformed. The area I am interested in is Palm Desert California, mostly an aged retirement community, which these kinds of predators contact.

Our OPEN SPACE ACTION COMMITTE has been organized by volunteers. We have an email address ofRead Moreopensp aceaction@gmail.com. If you leave a message at this email we will contact you. If you have not signed a petition we can also send you one by email or mail. A web site will be available soon. HELP US KEEP OUR GOLF COURSES AS OPEN SPACE. The Management has closed the Executive Course since April 2013. SummerBreeze is correct that the owners have been to City Hall and met informally to discuss building on the Executive Course. There are 29.99 acres on the Executive Course and they told the city they were going to build on 40 plus acres. At this time there is nothing formally filed with the city. HELP US KEEP OUR OPEN SPACE.
