Palm Desert: So much more than golf and geezers

Over a trip out of town someone asked me where I was from, when I said Palm Desert he replied: "I know three things about Palm Desert: golf, heat and old people."

Well yes, those things do exist here in the valley, but I want to show through this blog that that's not all there is to find in Palm Desert, Calif. It can be a great place to grow up, to live, or to visit.
