9-11 Remembrance Concert is Wednesday Evening at McCallum Theatre

A 9-11 Remembrance concert is scheduled 7 p.m. Wednesday at McCallum Theatre.

The hour-long concert will feature the Desert Chorale and the Palm Springs High School Band. Pre-concert music in the lobby will be provided by Heatwave, the Boys and Girls Club Jazz Band. The event is presented by the Palm Desert Sister Cities Foundation.


The concert is free but tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at the McCallum Theatre Box Office which will open at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event, Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013. No early tickets will be released, according to organizers.

The auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will start at 7 p.m.
