Starting Friday night, road work at a Cathedral City intersection is expected to cause traffic backups.
Asphalt work is scheduled from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. at Date Palm Drive and Vista Chino, Leisa Lukes said. No work is scheduled over the weekend, and the job is expected to be completed Wednesday, she said.
