Cabazon In-N-Out Scheduled to Open Wednesday

Employees and workers were putting finishing touches Tuesday on the new In-N-Out Burger next to the Morongo Travel Center in Cabazon, and corporate officials confirmed to Patch the business is expected to open Wednesday Jan. 15.

An employee outside the business at 49188 Seminole Drive also confirmed the new In-N-Out is expected to open tomorrow.

The restaurant will employ about 50 In-N-Out Burger associates with a starting wage of $10.50 per hour, corporate officials said.

There will be one drive-thru lane, and seating for 85 guests. Cabazon In-N-Out management plan to open daily, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, the same hours as other In-N-Out locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas.

The manager of the Cabazon restaurant will be Gus Bonell, a 20-year veteran with In-N-Out, corporate officials said.

"Beginning January 15, 2014, In-N-Out hamburgers, shakes and fries will be available at our newest location in Cabazon, California," In-N-Out marketing department officials said in a statement shared Tuesday morning with Patch.

"As with all locations, fresh ingredients will be supplied to the store from In-N-Out," the statement says. "Hamburger patties are made from 100% pure American beef and whole chucks are boned and ground by In-N-Out's own butchers. All patties are produced and delivered fresh throughout the week to the stores and are never frozen. French fries are made from fresh, whole potatoes and are hand diced."

In-N-Out was founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, and is still owned and operated by the Snyder family, marketing department officials said. None of the units are franchised.

The In-N-Out corporate offices are at 4199 Campus Drive, Suite 900, Irvine.
