OC Woman Arrested in DUI Crash

Wednesday crash also takes out signal at 111 and Deep Canyon

An Orange County woman has been arrested after her vehicle struck another car and knocked down a traffic signal in Palm Desert Wednesday night.

According to Palm Desert Police Sgt. Eller, 36-year-old Cynthia Ordonez’ Chevy Equinox was heading eastbound on Highway 111 when her vehicle struck a Ford Taurus travelling southbound on Deep Canyon.  Ordonez’ vehicle then hit a traffic signal pole that fell onto the sidewalk.

The driver of the Taurus was taken to a local hospital for examination.

Ordonez was arrested for suspicion of DUI.  Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the collision, and continue to look into the crash.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
