Deputies Search for Missing Palm Desert Man

Sergio Soria walked out of a Palm Desert residential care facility on Sunday, prompting a search effort.

Sheriff's deputies are looking for a Palm Desert man who walked out of his care facility on Sunday.

53-year old Sergio Soria left the Manor Care Health Services against medical advice at about 3:30 p.m.

Soria reportedly gathered his belongings, and left the facility without telling the medical staff, or checking himself out.

No description or photo of Soria has been made available.

It's not known why Soria was staying at the facility, but he is being urged to return for "ongoing medical treatment".
