Food Donations Needed For Working Families
More drop offs have been added around the valley, including Palm Desert.
Martha's Village and Kitchen put out a plea today for food donations for the working poor of the Coachella Valley.
"We are seeing people choose to fill up their gas tanks to get to work over buying nutritious food, and this leads to health problems that affect the community at large,'' said Blair Amidei of Martha's Village and Kitchen, which is based in Indio.
More drop-off locations have been added to make it easier for residents to donate food.
