Get Out: Five Ideas for Your Weekend

TGIF, Patchers. If you need ideas for your weekend, we’ve got them. This time around, we suggest going country, meeting a basketball legend and more.

Why Go: The PB&J is one of the famous Jamba Juice “secret flavors.” Like the others, it’s not on the menu, you have to order it specially. Some branches make this peanut buttery shake with strawberries, but you can also ask for a splash of grape or pomegranate juice, which really gives it an authentic flavor.

2. BORN TO BE WILD IMAX 3D

Why Go: This is the last week to catch Mr. Allen's maps and drawings from his days at Desert Magazine, artifacts from his personal collection, and family photos. There will be a closing day reception 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday. All are invited to stop by for some light refreshments and to view Mr. Allen's famous Coachella Valley maps.

Why Go: See this inspirational sports documentary co-written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and then meet the legend himself in a live Q&A after the show.
