Dozens of children who died across the Coachella Valley and Riverside County this past year were honored Sunday at the Lights for Little Lives event presented by The Unforgettables Foundation.
"I think today’s Lights for Little Lives walk went really well," said event co-organizer and Foundation board member Maureen Strohm.
The well-attended event began with a small ceremony at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park amphetheater. The group then walked a short distance to a chapel for prayer service.
Tonight, the Redlands-based organization will host their 13th annual event at the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House.
