Living Desert Chosen for Saks Charitable Funding

The Living Desert was selected to receive $9,192 from the Saks Loves Your Cause charitable program.

The Living Desert was selected to receive $9,192 from Saks Fifth Avenue at The Gardens on El Paseo on June 19 as part of the Saks Loves Your Cause charitable program.

“It was an honor to be selected by Saks Fifth Avenue as one of the deserving local organizations for its Saks Loves Your Cause fundraiser,” said Stacy Johnson, President/CEO of The Living Desert.  “It is truly gratifying and humbling to be on the receiving end of such a generous community-based effort.”

The funds were collected through a Saks Loves Your Cause fundraiser. The charity donated 5 percent of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card during the month of February to the two local organizations and the American Red Cross, according to a news release issued by Saks.
