Local Radio Host to Emcee Borrego Springs Festival

Patch blogger Francoise Rhodes tapped to host Desert Festival Parade in Borrego Springs.

For the second year in a row, local radio personality (and Patch blogger) Françoise Rhodes will emcee the Borrego Days Desert Festival Parade.

"I have such a wonderful time at this event and for a small town, they create a big event," Rhodes said.

The parade includes antique cars, horses, celebrities, parade floats and dignitaries. The parade is also the kick off event for a weekend of entertainment, vendors, food, kid zones and parties celebrating Borrego Springs. The majority of the weekend celebration takes place at Christmas Circle, the center of town.
