Clowning Around at the Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade
A record crowd turned out for the 47th annual Palm Desert Golf Parade along El Paseo Sunday.
Clowns, balloons, a carousel and men on stilts marched down El Paseo Sunday as part of the Palm Desert Golf Parade.
(also known as Marty Funkhouser) led the parade as Grand Marshall shortly after 1 p.m.
The parade likely drew a record crowd of more than 15,000, according to organizers.
