Rancho Mirage Water Leak Interrupts Local Service

A leak in a water line in front of Eisenhower Medical Center interrupted to service to some Rancho Mirage homes and businesses Tuesday.

The rupture was first reported at noon on Bob Hope Drive, Coachella Valley Water District spokeswoman Heather Engel said.

Part of northbound Bob Hope was closed, between Country Club and Frank Sinatra drives, pending repair of the damaged line, according to the water district, which was giving away bottled water in the affected area.
