Road Work Planned on Date Palm Drive

Road repair will start Monday night on a portion of Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.

The road work will begin at 6 p.m. on northbound Date Palm at 30th Avenue, and the northbound outside lane of Date Palm will be closed. The work will last until 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the city.

Over the next few weeks, city workers will remove cracked asphalt and replace it with concrete in the center of Date Palm at 30th. The work may cause short delays for motorists, according to the city.
