Traffic delays were expected starting Monday near The River shopping center in Rancho Mirage while a pipe is repaired in the shopping center's namesake water feature.
The right lane of westbound Highway 111 will be closed from Bob Hope Drive to Rancho Las Palmas Drive from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 15.
The River management is making "emergency repairs" to the complex's lake adjacent to Highway 111, city spokeswoman Joni Almy said.
The management drained the lake last month when a foundation crack was discovered, The Desert Sun reported.
