TRAFFIC ALERT: Monterey at Fred Waring
One of the city's busiest intersections undergoes work during today's morning commute.
City workers will be completing slurry sealing at the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Fred Waring Drive on Tuesday. Work will be done between 5:00 and 10:00 a.m. to minimize impacts, according to City spokesman David Hermann.
At least one lane will be open in each direction at all times thought this busy intersection; but delays are expected.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes such a Portola Avenue, San Pablo Avenue or Bob Hope Drive.
