TRAFFIC: Caltrans to Close Eastbound Lanes on I-10 Tonight

Crews will be working to remove scaffolding from a bridge project.

Interstate 10's eastbound lanes will be closed at Date Palm Drive tonight as Caltrans contractors remove scaffolding at a bridge-widening project.

The work was scheduled last night but was delayed because of weather, California Highway Patrol Officer Joe Zagorski said.

The eastbound side of I-10 at Date Palm will be closed from 8 p.m. today to 4 a.m. Wednesday, and the westbound will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday.

Date Palm will also be closed from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. on those days, and drivers must use Palm Drive or Bob Hope Drive to access and exit the freeway, Zagorski said.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
