Video: Coachella Fans So In-The-Know, They Praise Nonexistent Bands

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel sent a crew to this year's Coachella festival and caught music fans in lies about fake bands.

This year's Coachella Valley and Arts Festival again delivered a full weekend lineup of artists the music community was excited to see.

An estimated 80,000 fans were out each day of the two-weekend festival, to see nearly 200 music acts play across six stages at the Empire Polo grounds in Indio.

With such an array of musical offerings, it can be difficult to keep track of all the names of artists— especially some of the smaller, up-and-coming ones.

To test out a theory that some fans may act like they know the next "it" band— but in actuality have no idea who they are— late night television host Jimmy Kimmel sent a television crew to the gates to interview attendees as they headed in.  Check out the video for their responses about fake bands like "The Chelsea Clintons" and "Get the F$%$ Out of My Pool."
