The Heatwave Jazz & Show Band of the Coachella Valley Boys & Girls Clubs performed Monday Nov. 11 at a Veterans Day ceremony in Palm Desert.
"Today we gather here to celebrate our veterans in words and music," Palm Desert Mayor Jan Harnik said. "Honoring and thanking those who have served and continue to serve our nation's military is appropriate every day. But on Veterans Day it is especially important that we recognize and express our gratitude to these brave men and women."
