'World's Largest Lesbian Event' Kicks Off Wednesday in Palm Springs
Dinah Shore Weekend 2014 lasts through Sunday.
The 24th annual Dinah Shore Weekend will get underway Wednesday night.
The celebration, started in 1991, and is billed as the world's largest lesbian event, with dance and pool parties and concerts. Tonight's "pre- party" starts at 8 p.m. at the Palm Springs Hilton.
Other events include a comedy night on Thursday, a film festival and "white party" on Friday and a charity poker tournament and concerts by Grammy- winning rapper Eve and Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara on Saturday.
