Best-selling novelist Jackie Collins will close the inaugural Rancho Mirage Writers Festival and launch the Rancho Mirage Speakers Series with a talk at Eisenhower Medical Center tonight.
Her talk starts at 7 p.m. at Eisenhower's Annenberg Center for HealthSciences.
The festival started Wednesday. Collins' talk is an additional $50 for festival and speakers series ticketholders.
Collins has written 29 New York Times list of best-sellers and sold morethan 500 million books in more than 40 countries. Her most recent best-seller, “The Power Trip,” was published in February and is a thriller set on a yacht off the coast of Mexico's Cabo San Lucas.
The other speakers in the Rancho Mirage series are actress Ashley Judd,former White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers and the daughters of formerPresident George W. Bush.
