Coachella Valley Repertory Auditions

Are you a singer who wants to exercise your chops while being part of a good cause?

The Coachella Valley Repertory (CV REP) announced yesterday that they will hold auditions on Oct. 1 for their upcoming fundraiser, "A Desert Hoedown," which will benefit the AIDS Assistance Program.

Ron Celona, founder of CV REP says that he is seeking singers aged 18 and over for the short musical revue that he will direct alongside Paul Cracchiolo.

Those who are interested need to bring their selected country western style song's sheet music to the CV Rep's Theater on Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. An accompanist will be provided. The theater is located at the Atrium in Rancho Mirage.

The Coachella Valley Repertory was started by Ron Celona as an educational, dramatic and musical theatre organization, whose mission is to present innovative professional productions and outreach programs to residents in the Coachella Valley.

This weekend CV REP will present a staged reading of "Oldest Living Confederate Widow: Her Confession" by Desert Theater League actress Louise Ross.
