COMEDY NIGHT AT AZUL STARRING LA'S HOTTEST COMICS

Comedy Night at Azul Starring LA's Hottest Comics announces its February 25 show featuring comic stars SHAWN PELOFSKY, the renowned queen of Atlantis Cruises and of E! Network’s Chelsea Lately and LOGO’s Gossip Queens, THEO VON of MTV’s Real World Challenge and Road Rules, CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and NBC’s Last Comic Standing and JACKIE MONAHAN, star of the film Co-Dependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and of LOGOs’ Curiously Strong Comedians National Tour and Comedy Central.

SHAWN PELOFSKY

Shawn Pelofsky is the renowned headliner comic and the queen of Atlantis Cruises.  She has recently returned from performances around the world.  She can currently be seen on

LOGO's The Gossip Queens.  Shawn wrote and stars in the worldwide You-tube sensation, Lady HaHa and has a new comedy album, Lady HaHa, available on i-tunes.  She has opened up for greats such as Bill Maher, Margaret Cho, Richard Lewis, and Huey Lewis and The News.  Shawn's television and film credits include Chelsea Lately (E! Network), Comics Unleashed (ABC), Comedy Coliseum (NBC), Last Comic Standing (NBC), Minding the Store (TBS), Playboy TV, Hype (WB), and Free Enterprise, starring William Shatner.  She was also a finalist for The Comedy Central Laugh Riots.

Shawn performs regularly in her own show, The Bath House Show at The Comedy Store in LA and also in other comedy venues nationwide.  She has been featured in Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and in the all-female hit comedy tours, Pretty Funny Women, Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad and The Hot Tamales produced by Eva Longoria.  

She has traveled all over the world to entertain the troops in places such as Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Guantanamo Bay, Korea and Japan.

THEO VON

You may recognize Theo from his many television appearances, including Real World Challenge and Road Rules (MTV), The Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), Last Comic Standing (NBC), Reality Bites Back and Live at Gotham (Comedy Central) and Frat House (TBS). 

In great demand, he has been wowing audiences for years around the country and performs regularly at the Hollywood Improv, the Comedy Store and other top comedy venues in Los Angeles, New York and around the world.  He recently completed a tour entertaining the U.S. troops in Europe.

JACKIE MONAHAN

Jackie Monahan is taking the New York and Los Angeles comedy scene by storm while also taking her “delightfully Inappropriate” show on the road and headlines at clubs and colleges all over the country.  She is also proud to be part of the Curiously Strong Comedians National Tour created by the award winning television and movie producer Andrea Meyerson.

When Jackie is not on tour or performing for Olivia Cruises, she is busy around Manhattan and Los Angeles doing spots on Maxim's Sirius radio & VH1 shows. This trained actor & Upright Citizen’s Brigade improviser is unstoppable.

 You are sure to see Jackie on your television in her One Night Stand Up special for LOGO. She also has a hit podcast Girls on Girls for the HERE Network, and available on iTunes, which has broadened to an already impressive fan base.  Jackie is the winner of Time Out New York’s Joke of the Year in 2008 and was nominated for ECNY’s Best Female Stand Up Comedian.  Watch for Jackie as Zylar, one of the main characters in a hysterical new movie by the award-winning director Madeline Olnek, Co-Dependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and chosen Best Feature at the Honolulu Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
