COMEDY NIGHT AT AZUL STARRING LA'S HOTTEST COMICS

Comedy Night at Azul Starring LA's Hottest Comics announces the line-up for the Saturday, November 19 show featuring comic stars BETSY SALKIND of ABC’s Roseanne, NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, TRACIE WALKER of The Comedy Store, Atlanta Comedy Awards and Traci Walker: Just Talking, and RONN VIGH of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, the LA Improv and Harvey’s Funny Tuesdays at Harvey’s in San Francisco. 

The pre-show starts at 7:00PM and the show begins at 7:30PM.  With nineteen sold-out shows in a row, reservations are highly encouraged.  Please call 760.325.5533.  Cover for this great show is only $10.

Betsy Salkind is a comedian, actress and writer. Best known as “Squirrel Lady,” Betsy has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), Girls Night Out (Lifetime), Last Comic Standing (NBC), Americas Funniest People (ABC) and ARLI$$ (HBO). Betsy was a staffwriter for the television series, Roseanne (ABC) and Saturday Night Special (Fox).

As a comedian, Betsy has performed at the Comedy Store in LA, La Jolla and London, The Improv in LA and San Francisco, Laugh Factory in LA, Comic Strip in New York, Malta Sports Club in Malta and comedy festivals and competitions in Toronto, Vail, San Francisco and LA.

As an actress, she has appeared in independent films, including Pauly Shore is Dead, and on stage in numerous one-woman shows and with comedy troupes Guilty Children, The Other White Meat, and Terrorist Bridesmaids. She is the author of More Than Once Upon A Time and Betsy's Sunday School Bible Classics (children's books for adults) as well as the blog Ethel's Law.

In her spare time, Betsy is a member of the National Advisory Board of the National Association to Protect Children. She was instrumental in changing California law so to give equal protection to children sexually abused by family members. 

TRACIE WALKER

Tracie Walker, a native of Atlanta, GA, was nominated Best New Female Comedian at the Atlanta Comedy Awards. She performs regularly at comedy venues throughout Southern California, including The Comedy Store and Laugh Factory.  She also performed her one-woman comedy show "Tracie Walker Just Talking" at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood.

RONN VIGH

Ronn Vigh, from San Francisco, has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and produces his own comedy show Harvey’s Funny Tuesdays at Harvey’s in San Francisco.  He also performs with Loni Love at Punchline in San Francisco, in LA at the LA Improv, Laugh Factory and Malo and at venues in New York and across the country.  

The monthly show features the latest stand-ups from Los Angeles and New York's top comedy venues, including the Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, Downtown Comedy Club, Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Caroline's on Broadway and Gotham Comedy Club.  Audiences may have seen their television appearances onThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS)Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC),The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), Oprah (Harpo/CBS), Last Comic Standing (NBC), Entertainment Tonight  (CBS), Chelsea Lately (E! Network), Comedy Central, HBO, MTV, Logo and numerous network television series, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Treme, Happy Endings and Hot in Cleveland.  Several have appeared in films, including Almost FamousThe Backup Plan and Get Shorty.  Many performers have also appeared at clubs in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and London.
