Desert
EcoEvents
and the Natural Science
Collaborative are producing the second annual charity Earth Day
Festival
, Desert EcoFest@Aqua Soleil, at the Aqua Soleil Hotel and Mineral
Water Spa
, 14500 Palm Drive, DHS, on April 23, 2011, 10AM-9:00PM. A portion
of all proceeds raised will be donated to both Cabot's Pueblo Museum and the
Desert Hot Springs Community Gardens Project. This event is a major fundraiser
to benefit these two worthy causes. Last year over 1,400, people celebrated
Earth Day at Cabot's. Desert EcoEvents is proud to present in concert the Platinum
Recording stars, Pretty Ricky and Rome
, at 6:00PM on our EcoSol main stage.
Desert EcoFest will also be the hosting the debut of the Green Earth Film Festival, showcasing
environmental films made by both student and professional film makers.

The theme of this year's event is Healthy, Whole Foods
for All.
We have teamed up with the Aqua Soleil Hotel & Mineral Water
Spa in Desert Hot Springs and will be transforming their property into a
smorgasbord of family fun: Kids' Village, healthy living, healthy foods, an
all-star musical line-up, Art Force & wonderful local art, EcoSpeaker Symposium , yoga
demonstrations, spa pool party, Easter Sunday Gospel Brunch, local
businesses, and much, much more. The public is invited to participate in this
special Earth Day event. SunLine Transit Agency even has a bus stop right in
front of the hotel.

Assemblymember V. Manuel Pérez's office has joined
with us again this year as the event co-sponsor. Mr. Pérez and his staff are
reaching out to the largest audience possible within our communities to deliver
a message of empowerment, hope and health. The Natural Science

is co-sponsoring this event. Radio station U-92.7 FM
will be publicizing the event and broadcasting live from the site.

Local artists, exhibitors, and vendors are invited to
take part. Sponsors, volunteers, and social media promoters are needed.
Sponsorship is available at several different levels; please see web site for
details. More media promotion and in-kind donations are always welcomed. Want
