Pete Carlson Sponsors Unique "Jazz that Eclipses the Sun" Concert on Sunday, May 20th at 6:00pm at the estate of Philanthropists Gino & Lindi Biggi in Palm Desert. The Noted Danny House Quartet will perform during a partial solar eclipse. Attendees Will Receive Solar Eclipse Glasses for Optimum Viewing. The Public is Invited. Admission is $20 and students are Free.  Proceeds benefit two organizations: Loving All Animals and the American Jazz Institute/Boys & Girls Club Heatwave Jazz Band

Pete Carlson extends his American’s Jazz Institute’s. “Jazz For Jazz Lovers” Concerts with a unique "Jazz that Eclipses the Sun" Concert on Sunday, May 20th at 6:00pm at the estate of Philanthropists Gino & Linda Biggi in Palm Desert. Advance tickets are available at Pete Carlson's Golf & Tennis or can be purchased at the door at the Biggi home at 73-179 Joshua Tree in Palm Desert.

Seating is limited. Desert jazz fans and animal lovers should arrive early. Admission is $20 and students are free. “I’m happy to be able to hold this jazz concert in such a unique venue and support two important organizations that benefit our community,” says Pete Carlson. Directions to the Biggi Estate from Highway 111 in Palm Desert take San Luis Rey south to Joshua Tree and turn right, the estate is just past Tumbleweed Lane on the left.  Surface street parking is available in the area around the estate.

The Danny House Quartet will be performing on the lawn at the Biggi Bird Garden. The Biggi's have a large collection of exotic birds including Flamingos and other tropical birds. The couple is widely recognized for their support of animals. Their estate is known throughout the area as a sanctuary for homeless animals. “Loving All Animals” is the Biggi’s philanthropic organization.

A partial solar eclipse is predicted for May 20th from 4:26pm-6:42pm. In addition to enjoying the music the eclipse adds an unusual element to the evening for those enjoying the music and will receive special solar eclipse glasses to watch the eclipse. This is a unique experience for both jazz and animal lovers.

Danny House is an accomplished alto saxophonist who has played with the Count Basie Orchestra and the Clark Terry Band and has recorded with such well-known artists as Anita O'Day, Keely Smith, and The Manhattan Transfer to name a few.
