Pete Carlson’s Golf & Tennis Hosting Free Veterans’ Day Concert

Known throughout the Coachella Valley for their unique sound and style this group of “seasoned jazz veterans” will perform on the back patio of Pete Carlson’s Golf & Tennis, located at 73-741 Highway 111 in Palm Desert, on Friday, November 11, 2010. Donations are welcome and benefit the Veterans’ of Foreign War.   

The Mirage 10-Piece Jazz Band combines the talents of experienced Palm Springs area musicians who have come together for the pleasure of playing great music. The Mirage 10-Piece Jazz Band has a wide repertoire appealing to all ages. This includes; jazz standards, big band hits, smooth jazz, swing, ballads, contemporary jazz and Latin salsa.

Pete Carlson, a longtime local jazz enthusiast and host of a jazz radio show on KJJZ-FM (102.3), is very pleased to host the Mirage 10-Piece Jazz Band’s free concert benefiting the Veterans of Foreign War. “We want to share good music with the community and support our veterans on Veteran’s Day.”
