This group is for people who love vintage films and would like to experience them on a big screen and with an audience. We will be attending monthly showings at the Bijou Cinema in the Hi-Desert. The Bijou Cinema is a great place for people who want to learn about classic film. It has its own reference library of Cinema related books.
Mini-lectures by film historians will accompany each film presentation. There may also be field-trips to other areas in the Inland Empire for classic film presentations(unfortunately, there aren't many classic film presentations in the Inland Empire). If you like Film Noir, Classic Comedy, Silent Films, classic Animation, B-Movies and other vintage genres, then this group is just for you.
