Vicki Knight to give concert at Segovia

Vicki Knight, billed as "the Desert Songbird,'' will give a cabaret-style concert at the Segovia retirement community Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Knight moved to the Coachella Valley from her native Canada in the early 1980s and regularly performs at local senior centers and special events, and while volunteering with the Stroke Recovery Center. She was the featured vocalist for the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies for several years, Segovia marketing director Elle Paxon said.
