Fashion Week Parties - A Wrap-up in Pictures
Beyond the fashion, the models, the designers and celebrities is the social whirl of the pre-parties and after-parties, where Palm Desert's finest make an appearance and enjoy the festivities.
Fashion Week El Paseo kicked off the celebrations Monday night following the "Wine, Chocolate & Shoes" presentation under the Big White Tent. Attendees were feted at one of Palm Desert's premiere eateries, Cuistot.
Denise Roberge hosted the festivities Tuesday at her El Paseo restaurant, Augusta, following her Insanity boutique show, "A Rockin' Roberge Spectacular."
Wednesday's "Project Runway" after-party was hosted by the Riviera Palm Springs. American Idol finalist Andrew Garcia entertained the packed house.

On Thursday, following the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising presentation of their couture collections, revelers continued the evening at the Alicia Armstrong Gallery on El Paseo.
Trina Turk's "Palm Springs Eternal" show on Friday was followed by an under-the-stars celebration at Palm Springs' hotspot, The Viceroy Hotel.

Capping off Fashion Week El Paseo 2011, fashionistas under the Big White Tent were treated to the glamorous gowns of Oliver Tolentino, this year's Designer of the Week. The after-party crowd headed to the ACE Hotel to mingle one last time and revel in the week's spectacular program of events.
