Free Spring Concerts Return to Palm Desert Civic Center Park

Enjoy live music and beautiful mountain and lake views in the grass-lined Civic Center Park amphitheater from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May.

The following is a news release from the city of Palm Desert: 

Palm Desert’s Civic Center Park will  once again be the Coachella Valley’s hot spot for live music in May with the return of the City’s free Spring Concerts in the Park.

 

Enjoy live music and beautiful mountain and lake views in the grass-lined Civic Center Park amphitheater from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May. This year’s Spring Concerts offer a variety of talented acts designed to please music lovers of all ages and tastes.

The fun kicks off May 1 with a performance of classic swing by The Jennifer Keith Quintet. Other featured artists include celebrated Beatles tribute band Britain’s Finest (May 8), the warm country sounds of R Buckle Road (May 15), high-energy pop and rock favorites from Instant Replay (May 22); and a stirring series finale concert by the Palm Desert High School Jazz Ensemble (May 29).

In addition to exciting live music, Family YMCA of the Desert will be leading children’s games and activities before each show.

 

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs. Beverages and snacks will also be available for purchase. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
