Singer Lou Christie will start his stint with the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies today.
Christie's first performance is a 1:30 p.m. matinee. Singer Lorna Luft, a daughter of Judy Garland, opened the Follies' 22nd season, themed "Dance to the Music," in November. Other guest stars this season include singer Lesley Gore and Hula Hoop performer Mat Plendl. The season ends May 19.
Christie, who has been in show business for 50 years, is probably best known for his 1966 hit "Lightnin' Strikes."
The Follies has a cast of 16 singers and dancers ranging in age from 56- 86, who perform pieces from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.

I…Read More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
