Military Members & Their Families Get Half Off Living Desert Admission on Memorial Day

Up to six immediate family members can get the discount.

In honor of Memorial Day and with May being National Military Appreciation Month, The Living Desert is offering active duty and retired service members with identification half off admission on Monday, May 26th. The discount also is being extended to their immediate family for up to six people.

“Memorial Day and Military Month are all about honoring those who have served and given so much to our country,” said Allen Monroe, President & CEO of The Living Desert. “We encourage service members, past and present to bring their families, take advantage of the discount and enjoy our exciting exhibits and new animal babies.”

Guests can explore wildlife exhibits, take a journey through the deserts of the world, ride an endangered species carousel, hike nature trails, visit the Discovery Center, and marvel at the G-Scale Model Train display. The daily schedule includes a 9:30 a.m.Nature Walk, Giraffe Feeding at 10 a.m., the Wildlife Wonders Show at 11 a.m., and Animal Presentations at noon and 3 p.m.

 

The Living Desert is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last admission at 4 p.m. General admission is $17.25 Adults; $15.75 Seniors & Military; $8.75 Children 3 – 12; Children under 3 are Free.
