Military Members Invited to Ride Palm Springs Tramway for Free in July

Family members will get discounted tickets.

Active-duty and retired military personnel can ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for free throughout July.

Additionally, up to six of their guests will get 25 percent off normal tram fares, according to spokesman Greg Purdy.

"The tram's Military Days program is our way of saying thank you to the dedicated men and women of the United States armed forces, along with their friends and families," said Nancy Nichols, the tram's vice president of sales and marketing.
