ONE11 To Rock Palm Desert Park

ONE11, a popular local rock band, headlines the third night of Palm Desert's Summer Concert series at the Civic Center Park.

A talented group of Coachella Valley teens came together to form ONE11, and since its inception, the group has rocked the local music scene.

The band, comprised of high school students Michael Ramirez (guitar and lead vocals), Ryan Cenicola (drums), Evan Boydstun (guitar) and Matt Sutton (bass), claims their music is influenced by the likes of Green Day and Blink-182.

They have performed in over 90 venues in the the Coachella Valley and opened for Eddie Money last fall.

Band manager (also dad to lead singer Michael), Raul Ramirez, said he knows the key to their success.

“These guys have worked very hard,” he said.

And it’s paying off. ONE11 was the 2010 recipient of Desert Magazine’s “Best of the Valley – Best Local Band” award.

Showtime for the Thursday’s performance is 7:30 p.m. The concert is free of charge. Bring a blanket and refreshments to enjoy another beautiful night under the stars.
