Rocker Kelly Moneymaker Kicks off City of Palm Desert's 2013 Fall Concert Series

Blues rocker Kelly Moneymaker is scheduled to open the City of Palm Desert's 2013 Fall Concert Series on Oct. 3 at Civic Center Park, a city spokesman said Monday.

Other performers scheduled to perform are hip vintage jazz from Amanda Castro, Oct. 10, Americana and country inspired sounds of David and Olivia, Oct. 17, and high-energy dance music from Shaken Not Stirred, Oct. 24, according to Palm Desert spokesman David Hermann.

Each show is scheduled 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is no charge for admission. Concertgoers are urged to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs. Beverages and snacks will be on sale. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
