A magnitude-3.0 earthquake rumbled through the Coachella Valley Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The 3:09 p.m. quake was centered 13 miles east-northeast of Thermal and Coachella and 15 miles east of Indio, according to the USGS.
