Flash Flood Watch For Thursday
Slow moving thunderstorms will create conditions for heavy rain and possible flooding today
A flash flood watch was issued Thursday for the Coachella Valley as thunderstorms are expected to pass through the area.
The watch in effect from 11:00 a.m. through this evening, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm could produce brief periods of heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding on the valley floor, the weather service advised.
