The Palm Desert Sister Cities Foundation and the City of Palm Desert are planning a 9/11 Remembrance concert to be held in the Amphitheatre at Civic Center Park.
According to organizers, the free event “is an opportunity to come together to celebrate universal humanity through music and honor the courage of those who suffered and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
The musician for the patriotic themed concert have not been named.
The event will start at 7:30 p.m., concert goers are advised to bring water, lawn chairs, picnic food and candles.
