Palm Desert will get a second 99¢ Only store in October, according to the company's website.
The opening is set for Oct. 6 at 34660 Monterey Ave., just south of Interstate 10.
The stores sell food, cleaning supplies, tools, kitchen accessories and other items for 99 cents or less.
The national chain also has a store at Monterey Avenue and Highway 111.
