'The Descendants' Actress To Attend Local Screening

George Clooney's 'The Descendants' is already generating Oscar buzz and one of the touted scene stealers in the film will make a local appearance in Palm Desert Friday.
A question and answer session with Judy Greer is set for 6:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25 at the in Palm Desert.
The film, which was adapted from a 2007 Kaui Hart Hemmings novel, follows a father (Clooney) in Hawaii, whose wife's recent boating accident has put her in a coma, leaving him in charge of his two daughters.

"This is a very big movie, sure to be nominated for multiple Academy Awards with the Oscars for Best Picture and Best Actor: George Clooney both possible," said Steve Mason, owner of the theater.
