The annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade is still months away, but the Chamber of Commerce needs your help in deciding a theme for the October event.
If your entry is chosen as this year’s theme, you’ll ride in the parade in a chauffeured golf cart, receive a 2012 Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade shirt, be introduced at a press conference when the theme is revealed, and get other VIP recognitions.
The entry deadline is 4:30 p.m on Friday, May 18. Anyone is eligible to enter. Submitted themes may contain up to ten words. An additional description to clarify the theme may be added.
All entries must be submitted on an official entry from (or copy of one) available from the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce, 72559 Highway 11, Palm Desert.
Past themes have included: Take a Walk on the Wild Side, Through a Child’s Eyes, Salute to America, The Future’s so Bright You Gotta Wear Shades, Mardi Gras, and Halloween Extravaganza.
