Job Fair Set For Richie's Diner

The restaurant is set to open this fall at the Westfield Palm Desert mall.

Richie's Real American Diner -- which is set to open this fall at the mall -- plans to hold a job fair next week.

"Richie's will fill close to 100 positions from the neighboring community,'' said Sally Myers, vice president of marketing for BMW Management, Inc.

The job fair is set for Nov. 9-12 at the Westfield Palm Desert Desert mall at the JC Penny's entrance from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Myers said.

The restaurant, which has locations in Temecula, Murrieta and Rancho Cucamonga, was founded by Jack and Linda Williams 20 years ago with southern roots in Alabama and Texas.

"Today the original diners are still family-owned by Jack and Linda,'' Myers said. "Their daughter and Son-in-law are bringing the Richie’s traditions and recipes to Westfield Palm Desert."
