Local pharmacy offers alternative remedies

Town Center Compounding Pharmacy offers Kangen water and nutrition consultations.

The in Palm Desert has been operating as a regular, full service drug store and prescription filler for years.

But many regular patrons frequent the place because of the services and alternative medicines that are promoted there.

More than just delivering meds, the place is also known for low carb, natural hormone and nutrition consultations, a full line of gluten free food and drinks, homeopathic remedies, thermography screening and Kangen water distribution.

Kangen water has become a highly publicized fluid for the body over the past few years and I decided to check it out. The difference between Kangen and regular water is that it is ionized and carries a different ph balance which makes it slightly alkaline. This is supposed to work wonders for the body as its unique molecular structure allows for it to get into and oxygenate every part of the body, truly hydrating our entire systems.

The water has been said to help the body with constipation, digestion disorders, premature aging, weight gain, high blood pressure, fatigue and bladders disorders.

Within one week of drinking the ultra clean tasting water, I definitely felt as if I had more energy and was lighter in step. Subconscious or not, it seemed to be working somehow on my body and producing some positive results. Considering all of the stories about our water supplies being tainted, I felt it wouldn't hurt to make this a permanent fixture in my life.

What's really cool about the Compounding Pharmacy is that they give Kangen water free to their customers. All you have to do is bring your own jug in to fill it up. They sell the filtration systems too for when you get tired of going back every week for your refill.
