The popular fish restaurant spent its summer undergoing renovations.
"The interior has been refreshed, and there are new carpets, wall coverings and light fixtures," according to the restaurant's PR person Janet Newcomb.
The outside balcony still remains the cherished place to sit. At tables under misters or in private cabana type dining booths, it's a great place to whittle away lazy, desert afternoons.
The place is known for big fat oysters, flavorful sea bass entrees, the Pacifica Platter which lets diners sample a variety of fresh fish, and a vodka bar that features over 140 types of the libation.
My latest favorites are the BBQ Sugar Spiced Salmon, which is ultimately healthy but tastes and melts like butter in the mouth and the tangy and addictive dungeness crab louie.
