Palm Desert spa to team up with salon

Pink Tanning and Body Spa will partner with Alter Ego Salon, starting Aug. 16.

PINK Tanning & Body Spa will move from the on Country Club Drive to the Crystal Palm Courtyard on Highway 111 in Palm Desert later this month.

The spa is partnering with Alter Ego Salon, a full service hair salon, located at 73338 Highway 111 in Palm Desert, starting Aug. 16.

"Teaming up with Carly is exciting,'' said PINK's owner Danielle Pinkerton. "She and I went to high school together and then reconnected when I started going to her to have my hair done."

The women have been referring clients to each other for years, she said.

"We will now offer one-stop salon services of all types in a warm, inviting atmosphere,'' Pinkerton said.

PINK services include a full line of facials and peels for men and women.

Massages by Cheri Michel are also available for $85, by appointment.

Alter Ego Salon's owner, Carly Champagne, said PINK will bring unique services to her salon.

"What Danielle and her staff offer compliments what we do at Alter Ego. We feel it is a perfect partnership," Champagne said.

PINK Tanning & Body Spa will be available by appointment Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To make an appointment, call 760-641-5009, or visit www.pinkbodyspa.com.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Dorothy you actually believe criminals can't get guns without a background check. Wow are youRead More naive. Just because YOU don't understand why some people want a particular weapon...does not mean you can impose your ownership standards on someone else. Suppose I suggest you don't need the particular car you drive or the particlar beverage you drink? I see you are opposed to hunting. How do you feel about abortion? Typical liberal double standard at play here??

Totally agree. This is just the beginning of a gun grab. All it will accomplish is furtherRead More restrictions on law abiding citizens. Chicago is a perfect example. Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
