Tilted Kilt to Get New Life

New owners look to reopen the once popular eatery this fall

Once the location for many celebrity sightings in Palm Desert, The Tilted Kilt looks to reopen sometime this fall under new ownership and management.

The new Canadian owners have connections to a successful Tilted Kilt location in Edmonton, and are opening a second one in Calgary.  Tilted Kilt's corporate ofices in Arizona will appoint a General Manager for the Palm Desert location.

The chain of Irish-style restaurant/pubs is known for its English/Scottish/Irish atmosphere, traditional pub menu and scantily clad servers, the "Kilt Girls".

I'm so happy to hear this! I'm from San Diego, and the Tilted Kilt downtown was always a great place to watch a Charger game.... I went to the one in the desert a few years ago, it needed more TVs!!!

Maybe if the workers come from San Diego it might make it. Just like Hooters, remember this is Coachella Valley. So I say just like the other resturant that went down-hill SENSE didn't make sense. How long will Richie's Diner last? Its better to invest in a 7-11 or a John's. At least the Cops will visit there. Come on Man!!!

@B.K.-- Thank you for your help with the community :) I have a great respect for all teachers!

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
